KuCoin P2P lets you buy USDT for hryvnia from another person and pay to a bank card. The exchange acts as a guarantor: the seller's coins are held in escrow until they confirm they received the money. Below are the steps and what to watch for.

1. Account and verification

  1. Create an account on KuCoin and enable two-factor authentication (2FA) and an anti-phishing code if the exchange offers one.
  2. Complete identity verification (KYC). P2P usually requires a verified account and the requirements may change, so check the current ones in the app.
  3. Set up the funds password or code that confirms operations, if the exchange requires it.

2. Add a payment method

In the P2P settings add your card or IBAN of the bank you will pay from: Monobank, PrivatBank, A-Bank, PUMB, OTP Bank and so on. The owner name must match the name on your exchange account. Pay only from your own account: a payment from a third party can lead to the trade being cancelled.

3. Find a good ad

  1. Open the P2P section on KuCoin, choose "Buy", the USDT asset and the UAH currency.
  2. In the filters set your bank and amount to see only ads that fit it within their limits.
  3. Compare prices on the KuCoin page with other exchanges: by default we show only reliable ads.
  4. Choose a seller with a history: we recommend 50+ trades and 92%+ completion and a fast release time.

4. Create the order and pay

  1. Enter the amount in hryvnia and create the order. The exchange shows the seller's details and starts a timer.
  2. Pay the exact amount, with the comment if one is specified, and only within the timer.
  3. Press "I have paid" and wait until the seller confirms the receipt and releases the USDT.

Safety

  • Do not leave the order chat and do not share confirmation codes or passwords, whatever the counterparty says.
  • Do not trust receipt screenshots: only the seller releases the coins, and you send money to the details in the order.
  • Take small amounts for your first trades. Also read the signs of fake ads.
  • Terms, fees and limits can change: check them on the exchange before the trade. This is not financial advice.

When to choose KuCoin

If prices on another exchange do not suit you or you need a bank that is not there, look at KuCoin next to the others. We show the comparison of all six exchanges in the USDT to UAH rate and in the Binance, Bybit and OKX comparison.
