Log in to MetaRates to create a free key (Free plan). A key is shown once, so save it.
Questions and answers
The order book is cached for up to 20 seconds, while the best prices and history update every 5 minutes.
A seller's ad with at least 50 trades and a 92% completion rate. Prices that deviate from the exchange's median by more than 4% are filtered out.
Some payment methods (for example IBAN transfers from specific banks) carry a premium in ads. To see the price for your payment method use the payment_method parameter of the orderbook request.
The API returns 429 with the code rate_limited or quota_exceeded. The per-minute limit resets every minute and the quota every month.
There is no availability guarantee for Free, Starter and Pro. For Business and Enterprise terms can be agreed separately.
Free is meant for tests and small projects; choose a paid plan for commercial use. Reselling the data as a separate service needs a separate agreement.
Write to us. For Business we add exchanges and currencies on request when there is enough liquidity.
For now on request: we issue an invoice and activate the key manually.
